Restoration of existing listed outbuildings. Removal of previous modern garaging extension and rebuilding of period construction using traditional methods and materials. Repairs to the original structure, retaining original roof structure.

Extensive external works including the formation of stone paved areas utilising reclaimed Purbeck stone obtained from a network of salvage and reclaim suppliers. Construction of new pathways surfaced with Old English Gravel.

One of several projects carried out over a number of years to the Grade 2 listed house near Rowlands Castle.

The works included the repairs and replacement of stonework to the archway and copings. Repairs to brickwork and render panels. Repairs and recasting of replacement mouldings and scrolls. Complete replastering to the curved soffit of the archway.

Mechanical lifting of all the stone copings at roof level allowing repairs to the brickwork and rendered parapet wall followed by the reinstatement and fixing of the stonework.

Reroofing to the slate roof of the adjacent building including new leadwork to the gutters and flashings.
